A Prayer

We pray and dedicate:
For all those throughout the world who are afflicted with suffering as a result of war and violence, famine and natural disasters, poverty, oppression, and disease: may their anguish be relieved, and may they find peace and freedom, help and happiness!
For all those leaders who are trying to bring about genuine change, reconciliation and peace in the world: may their actions truly have effect!
For all the world’s great spiritual traditions, and their authentic teachers: may their message be heard and their work be successful!
For all who are working to alleviate the suffering of beings: may they never be discouraged, and may their compassionate actions be an inspiration to countless others!
